Looking Ahead: A New Season for JMabTreasures

As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves standing at the edge of something new.

JMabTreasures has always grown quietly — one piece at a time, one listing at a time, one thoughtful decision after another. For years, much of the work happened behind the scenes: sourcing, sorting, cleaning, researching, restoring, and carefully setting aside pieces that deserved the right moment to be shared.

Now, that moment is here.

This new website marks more than a technical change. It marks a shift into a season of visibility, momentum, and intention — a place where years of patient work finally begin to unfold.

The Work You Haven’t Seen (Yet)

What you see on the site today is only a small fraction of what JMabTreasures holds.

Over the years, our collection has grown far beyond what we’ve been able to list online. Countless finds — from recognizable brand names to smaller, unexpected treasures — have been carefully stored, waiting their turn. Many of these pieces have only ever seen the light of day at shows.

As we move forward, that changes.

In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll be steadily bringing hundreds of brand-name items online, along with thousands of other beautiful, interesting, and often surprising finds. Each will be cleaned, reviewed, described honestly, and introduced with the same care that has guided us from the beginning.

This isn’t about rushing inventory out the door. It’s about doing it right — and doing it consistently.

A Growing Presence, Wherever You Find Us

JMabTreasures is also becoming more present where people already are.

You’ll see us showing up more often on Facebook and Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes moments, new arrivals, and glimpses into the process that brings each piece to life. eBay will also play a role in helping us reach collectors and shoppers who love discovering unique items in different ways.

Each platform serves a purpose, but this website remains our home — the place where our full story, values, and collection come together.

A Return to Shows in 2026

One of the most exciting changes ahead is our return to shows.

It’s been a while since we were able to attend as many shows as we once did, but that chapter is reopening. In 2026, William and I are committed to attending more shows across southern and central Alberta, reconnecting with the in-person side of this work that has always meant so much to us.

Shows are where conversations happen, where stories are shared, and where pieces find their next chapter face-to-face. Returning to them feels like coming full circle — bringing the online and offline worlds back into balance.

Doing This Together

JMabTreasures has always been personal, but it’s never been solitary.

This next season is very much a shared one. With clearer systems, a growing platform, and a renewed commitment to showing up — online and in person — we’re stepping forward together with focus and excitement.

There is no finish line here. Only momentum.
